The Maison forte de Reignac is a very unique historic site located in the same commune as our campsite, Tursac, known as one of the rare — and even the last — intact “cliff castle” in France.

A medieval and Renaissance castle listed as a Historic Monument, located on the banks of the Vézère River. It is renowned for its formal French gardens, richly furnished reception rooms, and well-preserved architecture.

A Renaissance château famous for having been the residence of Joséphine Baker. Today, the château houses a museum dedicated to this iconic artist, as well as a wildlife park and remarkable gardens.

A masterpiece of topiary art, these formal French gardens are renowned for their geometric shapes and harmonious design. A place where nature is sculpted with elegance.

Ranked among the most beautiful gardens in France, the Jardins de Marqueyssac offer spectacular views over the Dordogne Valley. With their century-old boxwood trees, all hand-pruned, they are a place of poetry and serenity.

A perfectly preserved medieval castle, perched on a cliff above the Dordogne River. It has served as a filming location for several movies, including Les Visiteurs.

A medieval fortress, now transformed into a museum dedicated to warfare in the Middle Ages. A fascinating visit for both children and adults!

A ruined medieval castle perched on a rocky spur, offering breathtaking views over the Beune Valley. A place steeped in history and legend.
